Dave then launched a highly successful advertising agency called Pulse Marketing, with partner Bill Murphy. The agency was a stunning success, growing from 10 employees and annual revenues of $2 million to 45 employees and annual revenues over $8 million. Under Dave's leadership, the agency won advertising and communication contracts with McDonald's Restaurants, Atlantic Lottery, Molson Breweries, and more. Dave also consulted with a wide range of small businesses during this period. After 7 successful years, Pulse was sold to Cossette Communications, Canada's largest communications company.
Dave then introduced Moxi Creative, Atlantic Canada's first virtual agency. This venture won the Halifax Chamber of Commerce New Business of the Year Award in 2009.
